Hi,
I seriously came here for virtualbox and for a 1st and clean install things already goes wrong...
Looks that its not easy as :

Ensure that the home directory exists, create it if not.
Provide more information about your system, see forum rules and update your signature.
1) XigmaNAS 12.1.0.4 amd64-embedded on a Dell T20 running in a VM on ESXi 6.7U3, 22GB out of 32GB ECC RAM, LSI 9300-8i IT mode in passthrough mode. Pool 1: 2x HGST 10TB, mirrored, L2ARC: Samsung 850 Pro; Pool 2: 1x Samsung 860 EVO 1TB, SLOG: Samsung SM883, services: Samba AD, CIFS/SMB, ftp, ctld, rsync, syncthing, zfs snapshots.
2) XigmaNAS 12.1.0.4 amd64-embedded on a Dell T20 running in a VM on ESXi 6.7U3, 8GB out of 32GB ECC RAM, IBM M1215 crossflashed, IT mode, passthrough mode, 2x HGST 10TB , services: rsync.

Did you spot the checkbox in the header row? Is it ticked?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You mean tic "Enable" ? Sure of course, its "Enable" ! :))

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I get the exact same error message as the OP.
I had to create the directory for the VM's manually.

I do get the login screen for the GUI but there is no link for noVNC.

I'm running the latest FW on a 64b platform with a Pentium. So no ARM processor.
But I started trying Virtualbox with version 7389.

Is Virtualbox broken at the moment?
CPU: Pentium Silver J5005
RAM: 32GB
Mobo: Asrock J5005-ITX
4x 3TB WD Red in Raidz2
PicoPSU-80-WI-32V on 24V
XigmaNAS version 12.1.0.4.7728
Case: iStarUSA S-35 with BEYST SS harddrive cage

Better go for a Esxi then vitualize your NAS. Not the upside down. Trust me...
