Assigning AD user access to shares

#1

Post by Gromphedyret » 28 Feb 2017 22:41

Hi all,

I've just installed Nas4Free and joined it to a Windows Server 2012 R2 domain.
Under Services - CIFS/SMB - Settings, I've selected Active Directory as Authentication.
If go to Diagnostics - Information - MS Domain, I can see my domain users listed under "List Imported Users".

But when I create a new folder underTools - File manager and then share it under Services -CIFS/SMB - Shares, how do I assign user access to it?
When browsing the NAS server from Windows, I'm being asked for user name and password, regardless of what I type.

Thanks!
