AD User Permissions

#1

Post by andrin » 12 Jun 2017 22:27

Hello

How can I use my MS AD Security Groups to set the CIFS/SMB Permissions?
Is this even possible? If not how can I match my AD Users with my Unix Groups?

Thank you for your Help

I tried to alter the Permissions via the Domain Administrator. Authentication works fine, but when I try to add a security group from my domain, I get an error which is saying "The parameter is incorrect" from Windows Explorer.

I'm using the newest Nas4Free Stable Build with an UFS filesystem which has "Store NTFS ACLs in Extended Attributes" checked in the CIFS/SMB settings.
