Fail to access share by AD user

#1

Post by yh113 » 31 Aug 2015 07:47

Hello,

I installed NAS4Free 10.2.0.2 server on a virtual machine and i let it join Active Directory.
Now Administrator user on the AD server can access to the share, but no other user can access the share.

Question: How can i check whether NAS4Free is configured and authorized by AD server?

Regards,

Hello,

After long examination I finally found why AD was not working properly. My account name has _ (underscore) and samba client somehow omit it. For example if my user name is "Kei_C", "Kei C" was queried to AD server then authentication failed. I created a test user without underscore then it worked properly.

So now my question now is, how can I enable underscore for AD client? There are many user accounts having underscore hence I cant change them casually.
