#1

Post by oleost » 05 Oct 2016 04:58

Hi.

I have an FTP server, where I want to automaticle watch for new folders and if there is any new download them to a local folder on my Nas4free server.

Is this possible, what is the easiest solution?

If not, is it posssible to manually initiate to check for new folder and download?

I would look into rsync over ssh and run it in cron a few times a day.

if you don't have ssh access on the remote ftp server you could probably install and run "wget" from a dataset if using embedded with the "-m" option in cron as well.

I am sure there are other ways to acomplesh this task.
