Access denied on a NFS share -why?

This doesn't work, but it worked a few months in the past:

Code: Select all

mount.nfs 192.168.1.252:/mnt/vStorage/media/recordings /media/recordings
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.1.252:/mnt/vStorage/media/recordings
This works:

Code: Select all

mount.nfs 192.168.1.252:/mnt/vStorage/media/Musik /media/recordings
For me it looks that the different commands are similar, but on works, the other not.

This is the exports-flie:

Code: Select all

/mnt/vStorage/SOFTWARE -alldirs -mapall=root -network 192.168.1.0/24
/mnt/vStorage/VMs -mapall=root -network 10.0.0.0/24
/mnt/vStorage/media/Musik -mapall=root -network 192.168.1.0/24
/mnt/vStorage/media/recordings -mapall="root" -network 192.168.1.0/24
V4: /mnt/vStorage/media -network 192.168.1.0/24
Again, the 2 shares look identical

What is wrong?

Both directoryies have the same owner!

UPDATE:
showmount shows this:

Code: Select all

root@ocr:/media# showmount -e 192.168.1.252
Export list for 192.168.1.252:
/mnt/vStorage/media/Musik 192.168.1.0
/mnt/vStorage/VMs         10.0.0.0
/mnt/vStorage/SOFTWARE    192.168.1.0
But, why is the /media/recordings missing?
It's still in the /var/exports file

Hello
I suppose that you want to share via nfs the folders on the xigmanas server.
So in the menu services/nfs, you put the folders that you want to share.
As recording folder and Musik folder have a common path, you need to put the 2 paths on the same line in the configuration menu. Not 2 different lines. Hereafter my example with 2 pool (master and pool1)

Code: Select all

nfsd>
		<numproc>4</numproc>
		<share>
			<uuid>1daa4eea-3733-4b78-8a6a-d2f7eef707de</uuid>
			<path>/mnt/master/download/folder1 /mnt/master/download/folder2 /mnt/master/download/folder3</path>
			<mapall>yes</mapall>
			<network>192.168.150.0/24</network>
			<comment>pour shared</comment>
			<options/>
		</share>
		<share>
			<uuid>92757920-56a4-463e-83ad-1e26e49edbe0</uuid>
			<path>/mnt/pool1/download/tvhead /mnt/pool1/download/renamed</path>
			<mapall>yes</mapall>
			<network>192.168.150.0/24</network>
			<comment>nfs pour seedbox</comment>
			<options/>
		</share>
		<enable/>
	</nfsd>

Bingo!
That worked for me at least partially.

As a first measure, I de-activated the ../Musik-share.
And - bingo - now, the recordings-share works.

Is the "Export subdirectories" option the solution fpr my probelm ?
Of course, I do want to access "Musik" and "recordings" for different purposes.
