AFP - more options/editing via WebUI please?

#1

Post by hvisage » 22 Jun 2019 12:21

God day,

I have the use to put the CNID on faster storage (Optane/NVMe) not the spindle/rust of the exported RAIDZ filesystem.

But editing /var/etc/afp.conf gets overwritten the next time I update/add/change shares etc.

Any advice other than the request to have these options added to the WebUI/config file somehow?

any information entered into the additional parameters field on the main AFP configuration page will be appended to the global section of the AFP configuration file.

Additional parameters can be defined per share level as well.

Code: Select all

xigmanas: ~# cat /var/etc/afp.conf
[Global]
	hostname = afp44
	uam list = uams_dhx_pam.so uams_dhx2_pam.so
	guest account = ftp
	vol dbnest = yes
# additional parameters
cnid listen = 192.168.4.44
...
