iSCSI storage and domain

Post by Getby »

Hello guys, I'am in a struggle.
I have setup a iSCSI target and connected my Hyper-V core to use it as storage for VMs
So now what I am trying to do is from one of the vms (winserver2003) to create a scheduled job to do incremental backup to the UNC of the iSCSI target, but I always get
0x10=ERROR_BAD_ENVIRONMENT from the server. So my question is how can I give domain admin rights to the iSCSI target? Whats the best approach? This error usually appear when the user running the task doesn't have enough rights on the network storage. I've join the nas4free to the domain and it works fine when i do the test. Is it possible to give domain admin rights to be admin of the nas4free server ?
Note: The hyper-v core is not joined in the domain.
