Upgrade from 7741 to 7848 on the main home server went well.
All active services and add-ons work flawlessly.

Hi,

I already reported this here - but finally thought english would be better...:

Upgrade from 11.4.0.4.7741 to 11.4.0.4.7848 ran without any seen problems.

But unfortunately there is a persistent display error in the GUI since about two versions.

The monitor links for status_graph.php and status_graph_cpu.php (and only these, all other graphs are OK) do not show the usual RRD graphs in the GUI, but login pages for each graph. Browser is Firefox 84.0.

This was once reported in the old forum after the 7718/7741(?) release, but I wasn't able to find the original postings.

Can anyone confirm or got any hint?

Please move posting if this is not the correct place - thank you.

Best,
Matthias

I can not confirm the error you are facing (XNAS 11.4.0.4.7848 and FF 84.0).

Could it be corruption of boot media file system due to aging USB stick / HDD / SSD?

Hm.

Since this system is not so old at all and the SSD doesn't show ANY errors (I'll take a closer look at weekend), I'd like to doubt that.

But...ok...you never know.

But I remember that there were others users with similar problems - in the old forum. I think it was around 7718. IIRC switching browsers helped in one case. I'll test.

Besides it's not an essential problem - all others functions are operating absolutely normal and stable. No seen problems.

Is there a way to analyze this through console?

Best,
Matthias

I would suggest going down the following path to separate XNAS software and all other stuff like XNAS boot media, host web browser and its operating system.

Just create new embedded USB stick, disconnect all your hard drives/USB sticks from server and boot it using new stick.
  • If the error appears again then it's definitely XNAS feature.
  • If the error goes away, then most likely the problem is with your existing boot media and/or your existing XNAS instance.

Both pages display normally for me with Firefox 84.0 on Windows 8/10.
