My box was doing this if I leave the torrent service running more than a day or 2.

Other possible causes could be a failing power supply, or UPS.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.

Do you upgrade from FreeNAS?.

is like your disk config has recently changed:

Code: Select all

Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada2: 300.000MB/s transfers (SATA 2.x, UDMA5, PIO 8192bytes)
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada2: 953869MB (1953525168 512 byte sectors: 16H 63S/T 16383C)
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada2: Previously was known as ad14
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada3 at ata6 bus 0 scbus6 target 0 lun 0
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada3: <ST3500630NS Q 3.BTJ> ATA-7 SATA 2.x device
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada3: 300.000MB/s transfers (SATA 2.x, UDMA5, PIO 8192bytes)
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada3: 476940MB (976773168 512 byte sectors: 16H 63S/T 16383C)
Jul 9 17:43:59 xnas01 kernel: ada3: Previously was known as ad16
Try if possible to do a fresh full install.
To do this you must write in paper all your config (share names, etc...) or do a screen capture of all your important config.

But this problem isn't because the upgrade !!! This happens three days ago. Any one know how to check if there is some kind of schedule for automatic shutdown the system ?

System|Advanced|Cron

but I relative sure that problem was the name of disk that "block" the system, so a new full install solve it.

I made the update from freenas and didn't have problems until three days ago. The only thing I did was enable The option Power Manager on advanced tab. After the shutdown I disable but I think something change and I don't know how to fix this.
