Please help to set up my Mercury M525 UPS

#1

Post by george73 » 17 Aug 2018 19:41

I am having trouble to setup the UPS service for my old Mercury M525 UPS. I am connected it with a serial cable and don`t know which driver I use and what is the port name (on auto it is not working). I tried some drivers for example blazer_ser and some others but it is giving me error code 1 always.
Someone please help me the settings in the ups service tab.

auto is used for usb connected devices.

look at https://networkupstools.org/ I don't see your ups listed as compatible? if it works with nut it will work with xigmanas.

Yes I know auto not working. I think it is tty0 for my serial cable connection? But wich driver it needs? It is an old device and it did not listed as compatible. I thought someone can give an advise which driver is suitable for my device. I tried about every driver but without any luck.
