openVPN, PIA and bittorrent

#1

Post by showcasefloyd » 06 Apr 2015 18:37

So I'm trying to set up my N4F machine so I can use Private Internet Access (or PIA) to bittorrent, I've read a bit already and I'm confused by a couple of things.

First I want to set up openVPN using The Brig to place it in it's own jail, but will I need to set up a separate bit torrent client in that jail where the openVPN is running or can I use the already installed torrent service that is on my latest N4F release.

Thanks so much in advance.

I added a forwarded port to my VPN with 32400 as the local port and whatever was available with the VPN for the forwarded port (XXXXX). Then, I went to server settings, checked the "manually specify port" box, and put the forwarded port XXXXX in.
