Lighttpd HTTP redirect to HTTPS

#1

Post by Snunn1 » 31 May 2016 23:56

Hello all,

Having come from an Apache background, I'm interested in seeing what Lighttpd is like as a web server. I'd like to redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS but it doesn't seem to be working when I follow the official guide HERE. Does anyone know whether the redirect module is loaded by default or do I have to declare it in the Aux Parameters?

Regards

Thanks raulfg3, however I should have been a bit clearer on what I'm trying to do. I'd like to use the Webserver service for a simple HTML frontend and make it secure using SSL. Hope this clears up any confusion.

It looks like mod_redirect gets loaded, so I just needed to add the relevant config which can be found HERE
