Activating webserver = reboot?

#1

Post by dannyboy1121 » 06 May 2015 17:27

Hi - is there any way that I can activate the web server service without rebooting my NAS?

My NAS4Free box also has a couple of VMware datastores running on it and I'm not keen on having to shut all the VMs down just to kick off a service on the NAS. If there was a way of coaxing it to life via the CLI then I'd be keen to hear about it.

I'm not sure if this is what you are after but I have been having to restart the webserver after it crashed. See here for the script I am using:
