Current disk temp display on the system information page?

#1

Post by Uzi » 02 May 2019 13:26

If possible I'd like to see the temperatures of the disks displayed on the System Information page.

I know those are available in Status - Disks but I in my opinion a display on System Information gives the user a chance to check at one glance if everything is all right.

In combination with a color "coding" (just a square of color would suffice) of the current temp in the range of warning levels set in S.M.A.R.T. would even make the user see the current condition at a glance.
Examples:
S.M.A.R.T. Temperature Monitoring set to "Informal" = 35C and "Critical" = 40C

Drive temp below 35C: Green blob/bar/square/... next to the temp value
Drive temp below 40C but equal or above 35C: Yellow blob/bar/square/... next to the temp value
Drive temp equal or above 40C: Red blob/bar/square/... next to the temp value
