Simple Question about Share

#1

Post by Bone8Head » 01 Aug 2019 09:54

Hello everyone, I'm new on this Forum.

I have a newbie question.
I have a NAS with installed NAS4Free 10.2.0.2.
Now, I need a network folder that only I and another person can access it, so he can backup some folder of his PC on this Network Folder.

So, I created a "Share" on the CIFS/SMB folder.
Under the "Allowed Hosts" I've put mine IP and the IP of the other PC.
I can access the Folder, but when I just try to create any file in it, the System say "Access denied, you don't have the permissions etc.".
Maybe I'm missing something out? Here's the configuration of the Shared, I hope that something can help me out.

Thank you.

Ok thanks, but where Can I find this Folder on the Storage?

Under the mnt/pool1/etc. there are my folders but not this one that I created with CIFS/SMB.

Did you ever create the folder or did you just type in a path?
