turn off IPv6

#1

Post by supercazzola » 02 Aug 2019 04:41

Is there an easy way to (a) turn off IPV6 or (b)verify the state of IPv6 ? I am experiencing issues with PlexMediaServer in a freeBSD jail made with theBrig. Both host and jail OS is 11.2-RELEASE-p10. Plex support says to first make sure IPv6 is off.

thanks

Network | LAN-management | IPv6 Settings | uncheck Activate

mine is off there, but the result of ifconfig gives me the impression that it is still enabled:
