Missing SSD drives.

#1

Post by ElCapitan » 06 Mar 2016 01:38

I've got the software running of a USB drive and it sees my Main hard drive but I do not see the new SSDs I installed. If I boot from Debian they are both there and useable. The format program with Debian only allows EXT4, Fat32 and I think NTFS. I see that NAS wants UFS file systems. Why does it see my hard drive but not the SSD drives? If I need to format UFS what is a suitable program that covers that.

My problem was I had failed to activate the two drives in the BIOS. Once they were on the drives showed up in the list.
