cylinders=969021 heads=16 sectors/track=63 (1008 blks/cyl)

Figures below won't work with BIOS for partitions not in cyl 1
parameters to be used for BIOS calculations are:
cylinders=969021 heads=16 sectors/track=63 (1008 blks/cyl)

Media sector size is 512
Warning: BIOS sector numbering starts with sector 1
Information from DOS bootblock is:
The data for partition 1 is:
sysid 165 (0xa5),(FreeBSD/NetBSD/386BSD)

beg: cyl 0/ head 1/ sector 1;
end: cyl 920/ head 254/ sector 63
The data for partition 2 is:
sysid 165 (0xa5),(FreeBSD/NetBSD/386BSD)
start 409609305, size 16787925 (8197 Meg), flag 0
beg: cyl 921/ head 0/ sector 1;
end: cyl 941/ head 254/ sector 63
The data for partition 3 is:

beg: cyl 942/ head 0/ sector 1;
end: cyl 384/ head 254/ sector 63
The data for partition 4 is:
<UNUSED>

When I run the procedure in faq:001 it says :

if is a data disk or is your boot disk, stept do you do to format and then mount, etc..

Why you use FAQ001that is to fsck a bad disk, etc...

PD: Info about your hardware in your signature is always a good idea.

Hi,

No idea what happened. I ran into problems when booting and decided to reinstall completely. So I up and running for now.
