Hello;

I have been running for a while without issue but recently suffered a power outage that outlasted my laptop server battery. Since the reboot I have RAID 1 degraded and seem to be missing some data off the software raid drive that is mounted. The SMART output is:

Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.

Thanks, could someone update the FAQ to with this:

I had lots of permission errors, drive busy etc while trying to get access to ada0. Once I disabled GEOM permission to the MBR then I was able to us dd as expected.

Thanks. Sadly i haven't been able to fix things.

Booting up I get the following error:
ada0: secondary GPT table is corrupt or invalid.
ada0 using the primary only --recovery suggested
ada2: secondary GPT table is corrupt or invalid.

I read this http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=faq:0047 but as I am using softRAID1 I dont think it applies.

When I import the disks in disk management I get
ada0 - Filesystem USF ONLINE

When I go to software RAID I get error
nosoftraid-formatted disks available

I tried to create a manual mount point for ada0 (just to see what would happen), fails with this log entry:

Following the faq seems to take me round in circles with my setup.

I have managed to mount the data and share it after the 3 runs of fsck so my data will be safe (which is the main thing).

I guess from here I am just as well to start over with a new install and copy my data back (feels like giving up a bit but if it works).

Happy to take any suggestions how I can get the RAID back and working - I have about 5 hours of backing up to go so sometime on my hands.
