I thought there used to be a way via the WebGUI to upgrade ZFS to the latest version, but i can't seem to find it now.

Disks > ZFS > Pools > Tools
Check the box "Upgrade ZFS and add all supported feature flags on a pool", then click "next"

So, oddly enough, that option is not available in my list of options, which include:

Activities

Add a cache device to a pool

Add a log device to a pool

Add a spare device to a pool

Bring a device online

Clear device errors

Destroy a pool

Display ZFS command history

Export a pool from the system

Generate a new unique identifier for a pool

List or import pools

Remove ZFS label information from a device

Replace a device

Scrub a pool

Take a device offline"

You have to scroll the window, it's just after "Take a device offline"

And there are still other orders below.

For 11.3 users:

Two new feature flags have been added to ZFS since FreeBSD 11.3, one of them, spacemap_v2, is not compatible to the ZFS version in FreeBSD 11.2. The upgrade option has been removed from the tools menu to allow 11.3 users to return to 11.2 without losing the ability to fully access their data.
If you are not planning to return to 11.2, simply issue a

Code: Select all

zpool upgrade -a
from Tools > Command > Command

I'll unlock the upgrade menu option with the next release because 11.2 is now EoL.
