Kernel panic: "Bogus interrupt trigger mode" on intel J1900

This happens on the new Intel Bay-trail D J1900 boards (Asrock Q1900B-ITX board).

Apparently this is not unique for this board, but also happens for some other bay trail boards.
I found this Issue, that describes the problem pretty well, and also includes a patch.

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=187966

It is already included in FreeBSD-11.0-CURRENT, which boots fine.

Any chance that this could be included in the next SVN release?

you will have to wait until nas4free switches to that freebsd version.
Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.

Ah, I see that the patch has already been applied in the log. Thanks!

Just FYI, I applied the patch to 9.2.1.5-STABLE and I can confirm that it works. We don't have to wait until NAS4Free Migrates to FreeBSD 11.0!
