what explorer do you use?.

can you put the content of the path to see if files are copied correctly?.
I got it working.. I had installed to a different location in previous attempt, and when I switched to that location for save, it worked..
Strange behavior, but it works now.. so there.
Thanks for the reply!

Plex for some reason won't update. I click on update, it shows a new version found, goes to download it, and then says its the latest version. It repeats the whole thing no matter how many times I click the update button

Code: Select all

FreeBSD repository is up to date.
All repositories are up to date.

Looking for new Plex Extension package!

I tried doing a complete uninstall and reinstall and it is still doing it

Hi, this thread section is for the OBI itself ;) , between I've tested latest Plex Extension with good results:
Screenshot from 2019-03-31 14-57-14.png
Also please disregard "new version available for download" message from the Plex GUI itself, since FreeBSD packages lags behind Plex official packages as expected.

Hi everyone,

I do :
Tools - Command.
In PHP Command, I enter :

Code: Select all

fetch https://raw.github.com/crestAT/nas4free-onebuttoninstaller/master/OBI.php && mkdir -p ext/OBI && echo '<a href="OBI.php">OneButtonInstaller</a>' > ext/OBI/menu.inc && echo -e "\nDONE"
then Execute

And I then receive
PHP Command Output
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'https' (T_STRING) in /usr/local/www/exec.php(348) : eval()'d code on line 1

Any ideas ?

In your second screenshot it shows the warning that you didn't use the data folder in Nextcloud during the Installation!

Please obey the Installation instructions in [EXTENSION] NextOwnCloud and also the screenshots, should help you to clarify where to put your data directory in Nextcloud during the installation process within the Nextcloud webgui!

NB: this thread section is for the Extension OBI itself, please post further requests under Extension NextOwnCloud or appropriate … ;)

New issue after installation of OBI (Thanks sleid & crest)

I active extension MySQL, everything is find and service starts, with PID, perfect.
I configure web server in order to get acces to adminer, OK

My problem starts here.

If I DONT activate MYSQL (without checking enable on the right side), I get acces to adminer in webserver
If I active MySQL (by ticking enable) adminer is then removed.

Did I miss something ???

So, without ticking enable, I get acces to adminer, I try to log with mysqladmin for logging and password

Code: Select all

Note:
Default database administrator is set to mysqladmin with password mysqladmin.
I receive the wonderfull message :

Code: Select all

The server requested authentication method unknown to the client
Did I miss something else ???

Hey Crest,
I followed your instruction (also, as per the instruction listed on extension nextcloud page) and I'm still getting the same looks on page. No icons. I posted a new post under proper form. Please check it out and let me know how to fix it now that I have followed the proper instruction with proper path for folders too

hello,

by default it recommends installing the applications below /mnt/...

why is not it recommendable in the root like other applications?

It's a bad idea that the zpool is exclusive to my data and that the applications are on the system disk? (My OS is in zfsonroot mirror with two discs)

The reason why is because of embedded systems - the root partition has limited space and, since it stays in the RAM, is lost on system shutdown.
If you are on full installation than you can use other paths for installation (obey the appropriate checkbox during the installation process) ...

hello,

after reload server, the disc temperatures have stopped showing. I deleted a disk, solitary, and reimported it after restarting. the pool now has a renamed disk (before da4, now da3?) and only shows, without temperature, the da4 disk in the pool

How can I restart, or delete, that old information disk pool, so that it can be displayed correctly again?

solved! :)

I thought that with the name change, maybe I would not have modified the zpool. I looked at the virtual device and it was not really updated. I have synchronized the pool, thus detecting the new assignments, and disabled / enabled ExtendedGUI

now shows the discs and their temperatures correctly :)

Exactly, after manipulations on the zfs pools a sync is necessary, well done ;) :D

Revisiting this thread, (truncated quote below) except mine was 11.2.0.4, that I had upgraded way back when and hadn't gotten around to looking into the error. In this case, though, the version installed is 64, while OBI is looking for 63. So I changed the versions accordingly.

A couple of days ago I used OneButtonInstaller to install mysql on my 11.1.04 Nas4Free/Xigmanas.
The installation went without incident, but the web gui refused to start.

Specifically libicuio.so, libicudata.so, libicui18n.so, and libicuuc.so did not match; the version on my system was .64 while the version sought was .63.

Here is the symbolic links needed for that version.:

Code: Select all

ln -s /usr/local/lib/libicuio.so.64 /usr/local/lib/libicuio.so.63
ln -s /usr/local/lib/libicudata.so.64 /usr/local/lib/libicudata.so.63
ln -s /usr/local/lib/libicui18n.so.64 /usr/local/lib/libicui18n.so.63
ln -s /usr/local/lib/libicuuc.so.64 /usr/local/lib/libicuuc.so.63
.. and as far as I know, I have the latest OBI installed. 0.4.0.2 according to the first post.

Re: [EXTENSION] OneButtonInstaller - mySQL

Hi
I did a fresh reinstall of the latest version of Xigmanas on a new hardware, with OneButtonInstaller.
I chose MySQL to be installed, without adminer
I run in a browser http://xigmanas.local/phpMyAdmin and it works. Great !

I enter root as a login and no password….. it is refused (login without password is prohibited)
I entered mysqladmin for login and pass and I get the Following error : mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/1045): Access denied for user 'sqlmyadmin'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

I did not use adminer as I need the webserver to be running for something else.

Who can help me ?
Sorry to be so noob.....

PS : Added adminer and same error occurs
NAS 1 : Version 11.2.0.4 - Omnius (revision 6625) x64-full on Intel(R) Pentium(R) CPU G840 @ 2.80GHz
MSI B75A-G43 (MS-7758) w/ BIOS American Megatrends Inc. version: V10.5 10/12/2012

Non sure if you already know that MariaDB was integrated into XigmaNAS, between you can always chose MySQL Extension if you prefer it over MariaDB.

Also according to MySQL Extension Note: "Default database administrator is set to mysqladmin with password mysqladmin." so you will be able to access with said user and password on first login:

Help me, please.
I can't install OneButtonInstaller on embedded XigmaNAS v12.1.0.4.7091. "fetch https://raw.github.com/crestAT/nas4free ... er/OBI.php && mkdir -p ext/OBI && echo '<a href="OBI.php">OneButtonInstaller</a>' > ext/OBI/menu.inc && echo -e "\nDONE"" succeeds. But after specifying Common directory = "/mnt/NASys/Ext" in the ZFS pool, WebGUI hangs indefinitely.
As far as I understand, the hang occurs in the "onebuttoninstaller-install.php" script, line 53, when executing "fetch https://github.com/crestAT/nas4free-one ... -v0402.zip".

With best regards, Igor.

revise your DNS and post if you can manually do a fetch from shell
12.0.0.4 (revision 6766)+OBI on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 12x3TB disk in 3 vdev in RaidZ1 = 32TB Raw size only 22TB usable
