TheBrig - remove

#1

Post by howi42 »

I tried to remove TheBrig from my NAS4Free installation, using the button in the maintenance panel of TheBrig.
It disappeared, but the basejail directory is still there and I am not able to remove it.

What do I have to do to make it deletable ?

Thanks,

Wolfgang

the basejail directory is also a dataset, so you will need to remove the dataset first... also if you created it in shell then remove it from the shell as you need to be the root to delete it

For complete remove Thebrig need
1. Stop all jails
2. Use Thebrig remove jail option (Delete Jail) for delete all jails.
3. Remove Thebrig from tab Rudimentary config, Uninstall TheBrig opt
4. Manually delete TheBrig folder or over ssh as root, or over Advanced|File Manager

Perhaps you need to do a chflag -r previosly to remove using rm -r , see wikin search delete jail

If you use Thebrig delete button - not need. TheBrig is master!
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I got it to work ; the 'chflags -R noschg basejail' command above solved it.
Thanks.

For me, with 11.2, when I click on the extensions then the brig, I get a screen full of text / errors. So I can not use it to stop or delete jails. I assume I can just use equivalent command line commands?
