If the latest 9.3.0.2 does not include the function, then I will install version 10 in the following days.

Just installed 0.5.1.1 on one of my systems (9.3.0.2 - Nayla revision 1310) and in status|system I get

Code: Select all

Fatal error: Call to undefined function html_textinfo() in /usr/local/www/index.php on line 640
I get the same on NAS4Free 9.3.0.2 (1955).
I am not ready to upgrade to 10 right now.

So if it possible make it work again on NAS4Free 9.3.0.2 (1955).

Thanks.

I assume you have CIFS/SMB not enabled?
Try to enable CIFS/SMB and after that restart eGUI, should solve this problem. A fix will come with the next release of eGUI.

Hello all,

there is a new maintenance release (v0.5.1.2) of this extension available => [EXTENSION] Extended GUI.

For a list of the changes take a look at the Version History. Updates can be performed directly via the extension maintenance tab in the WebGUI.

Hello all,

for the next release of eGUI I already implemented the display of SSDs with the lifetime value
screen_20151211_121057.png
Since the SSD vendors use different parameters for the lifetime value I would need the output of

Code: Select all

smartctl -a /dev/adaX
whereas adaX is the driver name of your SSD, e.g. ada2 ... without partition.

It would be helpful to get this information for different SSDs to see which params are used for the lifetime counter.

Thanks in advance,
crest

If you add a new disk restart eGUI from the extension WebGUI and refresh the STATUS|SYSTEM page, the newly added disk should show up there. If not please send me the disk configuration.

No problem, take a look at the installation procedure at the first post of this thread, you can update directly within the extension under the maintenance tab.

Guiconfig was changed at 2018 revision http://sourceforge.net/p/nas4free/code/ ... d00f2:2018
It depends on which version of Extended GUI is used - since v0.5 the files guiconfig.inc and system.inc are no longer replaced.

There is no need to reboot or disable and enable the extension, the recycle bins are detected automatically at every run of the script. But be aware that samba creates recycle bins in the file system with the first deleted file in a share so if you expect to see it in the extension for a newly created share you should delete a file first ... ;)

Try to restart (Save) eGUI from the extension Configuration page (the System calls service status must be running after the restart.
After that refresh the STATUS|SYSTEM page to see if something changed.

If it's still the same pls send me the file CONFIG2 from /var/scripts and the output of the command

Code: Select all

df -h

No, there is nothing wrong with github, I tried just now to download the package, went smoothly ... seems to be also related to the problem you reported here -> viewtopic.php?f=71&t=8299&p=64783#p63385

Pls try the following command in the CLI

Code: Select all

fetch -vo master.zip 'https://github.com/crestAT/nas4free-extended-gui/releases/download/v0.5.1.2/extended-gui-v0512.zip'
You should get this

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI

Trying to install this extension and coming across some issues.

After creating a /DATA/extensions dir I find that the listed code in Step 2 doesn't seem to work:
cd /mnt/DATA/extensions && fetch https://raw.github.com/crestAT/nas4free ... nstall.php && chmod 770 extended-gui*install.php && echo "fetch OK"

First thing I notice is that on trying to access the address it is redirected to:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/crest ... nstall.php

I also noticed that in the code at that location, there are references to 'extended-gui-install.php' and not 'extended-gui_install.php'

After manually saving and renaming the file to the appropriate location and trying Step 3:
/mnt/DATA/extensions/extended-gui_install.php

I get the the following response:
Installation file 'extended-gui-install.php' not found, installation aborted!

Has this extension been abandoned?

Each time I reboot I have to reinstall the extension. What can I do?

This is maybe an Github internally issue but the download still works ... :?:

Do you mean that you edited the installation file? The reference to 'extended-gui-install.php' is correct, don't change it. It's a two stage installation because 'extended-gui-install.php' is also used for the update of the extension which can be performed directly in the WebGUI.
Has this extension been abandoned?
Not at all  after finishing the work on my other extensions I am planning to add new features to eGUI again.

Hello willrun4fun,

Do you use an embedded installation of N4F and did you install the extension to a persistant directory, following my installation guide in the first post of this thread?
