random reboot - help to find out the reason

#1

Post by nasser » 21 Jul 2017 23:32

Hello,

this evening my nas4free box did a reboot. I need to understand WHY - was there an error, which one?
But in the system.log I cant find anything related to his. Where I have to look, is there some additional log features I can enable to find out whats wrong?

- where can I find that information / logfile? There must be something like "Temperature too high, rebooting..." ... ?!
- where can I configure that behaviour / limits? is that a freebsd or ipmi/bmc thing? (asrock C2750ID4)
