So for those of us who dove into FreeBSD 10 you may have noticed Iperf was upgraded to iperf3 which is not backwards compatible to iperf.

This was a small annoyance when I wanted to speed test my network from NAS4Free 10.1 to my Linux desktop. The below link helped me get iperf3 on my Linux machine
