We are pleased to announce the release of XigmaNAS version 11.2.0.4.6195 - Omnius.

First BACKUP your current Configuration!
READ readme_11.2.txt please before you do anything!

Download build 11.2.0.4.6195

Changes after release 11.2.0.4.6177
======================
- WebGUI code & framework improvements.
- Update translations.
- Upgrade syncthing to 0.14.52.
- Upgrade php to 7.2.12.
- Upgrade nano to 3.2.
- Upgrade dialog to 1.3-20181107.
- Fix regression on RootOnZFS.
- Fix error message log settings.

Basic Note:
- Make a new backup of your system configuration and store this on safe location, the system config.xml could be upgraded!
- Clear your browser's cache to avoid display issues after upgrade when coming from older release.

Build: XigmaNAS 12.1.0.4 (rev. 7509) amd64-embedded on Sandisk 64GB SSD. Supermicro X10SLL-F-Bios v3.2- Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E3-1231 v3 @ 3.40GHz - 32GB Crucial DDR3 ECC (CT102472BD160B), LSI 2008-8i IT mode, Storage: 3x Seagate Ironwolf 10TB. Raidz. Enclosure; Fractal Design R6.

Thank you team for a very smooth upgrade. Well, two of them - a standalone system and an ESXi VM.

The standalone was the one I was worried about. It's a Gen 8 Microserver booting grub2 from a microSD - but that was easy too.

I have a friend with an very old 10.3.0.3 (revision 2870) machine. It has just run in the background so he hasn't updated it since I helped him install it years ago.

Is it likely or even possible that restoring a config backup from such an old version would import correctly on a new install of 6195? We'll be backing up his 3 TB of data but would like to avoid having to then restore it as well.

Restoring from this configuration version (2.5) is supported.
1) XigmaNAS 12.1.0.4 amd64-embedded on a Dell T20 running in a VM on ESXi 6.7U3, 22GB out of 32GB ECC RAM, LSI 9300-8i IT mode in passthrough mode. Pool 1: 2x HGST 10TB, mirrored, L2ARC: Samsung 850 Pro; Pool 2: 1x Samsung 860 EVO 1TB, SLOG: Samsung SM883, services: Samba AD, CIFS/SMB, ftp, ctld, rsync, syncthing, zfs snapshots.
2) XigmaNAS 12.1.0.4 amd64-embedded on a Dell T20 running in a VM on ESXi 6.7U3, 8GB out of 32GB ECC RAM, IBM M1215 crossflashed, IT mode, passthrough mode, 2x HGST 10TB , services: rsync.

That's really good to know. Thank you for that.

If the worst happens we can restore the data files but it will be from a USB 3.0 disk attached to a Windows PC connected over the LAN (i.e., opposite of the backup path). Not fast.
