Problems with HAST after upgrade.

#1

Post by omega » 20 Mar 2014 10:40

Hi ppl.
I have Nas4Free HAST cluster embedded install with two nodes for example nas1 and nas2. nas1 is a primary node.
I upgraded nas2 from 9.1.0.1 rev 847 to 9.2.0.1 rev 943. After update, in disk management i can't see anymore HAST devices instead there is a warning message: "The Devices in config are different to actual devices. Please remove the devices and re-add it...." and two of my HAST devices are missing. When i am trying to add disks i don't see HAST devices at all... ;(
Same happens if i making nas2 primary node.
What i am doing wrong ?
Thanks.

my first guess is that something has changed in freebsd 9.2.
have you tried recreating the hast configuration?
Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.

I tried but with no luck 8( I got an error when removing and adding again HAST devices.
I going to play with same setup in vm environment later.

viewtopic.php?f=80&t=5853

bugs report:
http://sourceforge.net/p/nas4free/bugs/156/

And solution ? Use version 9.1.0.1 ?

I have same problem...
HAST config with 2x Supermicro X9SRL-F, Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v2 @ 3.70GHz, 32 GB ECC RAM, 16x HDD ST3000VN0001
