i follow [HowTo] Install Packages On N4F Embedded process . but when i run
# mount_unionfs /mnt/data/opt/usr_local /usr/local
# mount_unionfs /mnt/data/opt/var /var
NAS4Free web gui don't display anymore util i reboot the machine.
does anyone can help me?

Welcome to the forum, Please do not mount whole /var, it will break NAS4Free. use my recommended method for Unionfs below:

# mkdir -p /mnt/data/opt/usr/local
# mkdir -p /mnt/data/opt/var/db/pkg

# mount_unionfs /mnt/data/opt/usr/local /usr/local
# mount_unionfs /mnt/data/opt/var/db/pkg /var/db/pkg
Remember that Unionfs works best on the data partition of the OS disk for system mounts, if HDD/SSD, though not recommended on USB stick, because of disk access, responsiveness and or latency which lead to unexpected behaviors, if you will place the Unionfs system mounts on the shared data disk, do not force standby or spin down the disk(s).
