"zigma nass" as in Xylophone, Xerox, Xenon - in English, at least. Not sure about pronunciation in other languages.

Although a native English speaker, I agree with this pronunciation, perhaps because I used to work for a company called Xionics which we definitely pronounced ksionics as we got mail addressed to Zionics amongst many other variants.

ksigmanas makes the biggest sense. Can you imagine "I'm using zigmanas....but it is spelled with ex not z"
