While this is being worked on... any chance to fix this glitch? Not sure where's the -518% coming from, but it's unwanted.

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Extended GUI can not make sense of ZFS formated drives without partitions! It expects to see at least one partition (P1), otherwise it completely ignores the drives above the non partitioned drive (even if those drives do have partitions) and while it does display the non partition drive, it can't understand what is going on and shows nonsense. Anyone else observed this anomaly? And is there a way to fix the issue without formating (and manualy partitioning) the drive in question? I don't feel like resilvering the drive just because Extended GUI has an issue.

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
I am also seeing some strange results in my Disk Space Usage Panel...
bootpool is made up of ada0s1 and ada1s1 in a mirror vdev... zpool is made up of ada0s3 and ada1s3 also in a mirror vdev... ada0 and ada1 are HP M700 120G SSD's with a full RootOnZFS/MBR install... I would expect to see ada0 and ada1 listed for both similar to my storage pools (da0 and da1, da2 and da3, etc)...
Don't know if it's related, but shouldn't there be a green checkmark, there seems to be plenty of available space???
I can also send you the smart data for the HP M700 if you would like it as well...
Regards,
Ben

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Ok, in my case it turned out to be a easy fix
I merely had to synchronize the underlying XigmaNAS OS (BSD) with the GUI. All shows OK now
I suggest you try the same thing.

Hello bjs,

Pls try, as gomario already recommended, to synchronize the pools, should solve your issues too.bjs wrote: ↑19 May 2019 23:59I am also seeing some strange results in my Disk Space Usage Panel...

At the moment the space check is not yet implemented for zroot but I'll do this for the next release of eGUI.Don't know if it's related, but shouldn't there be a green checkmark, there seems to be plenty of available space???
Yes, please, would be helpful ... !I can also send you the smart data for the HP M700 if you would like it as well...

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Well it's obvious, to me at least, that I don't know what I'm doing... I have tried synchronizing the pools and every time I do I wind up with 4 disks that need to be deleted under Disk Management and the home page doesn't change from what I posted above... Also, the check mark I was referring to was for the top pool named Backup... I'm also wondering if the bootpool and zpool aren't detected properly because this is a MBR install... Whatever, I'm afraid the only way to fix it maybe a complete reinstall...
Anyway, here is the smart details on my HP M700 SSDs...

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Hi bjs, in RootOnZFS/MBR installations the bootpool(ada0s1a) and zroot(ada0s1d) while they independent ZFS pools, they reside in the same disk but in different slices as required for MBR.bjs wrote: ↑01 Jun 2019 15:57Well it's obvious, to me at least, that I don't know what I'm doing... I guess that eGUI smartctl command is calling for either "/dev/adaXs1" or "/dev/adaXs1X" and not omitting the slice part(s1X) then returning nothing, but I can't confirm this from a VM unfortunately, but I will let crest know if I find solution.

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Hello,
I apologize greatly if this is already fixed, but I haven't been able to find a solution,
I install OneButton and install only Extended-Gui for now.
Everything works great, and I see all drives, along with temps and everything looks good. The issue occurs when I reboot.
The extension pages for both the OneButton and Extended-Gui disappear. When I look at File Manager, I see all folders as initially installed, but for some reason, tab in Web Gui is not persistent upon reboot.
I then have to go ahead and reinstall OneButton to see the extension page again in the Web Gui.
Is there any fix for this? Every time I reboot, I lose the extension page and have to reinstall all over again. I am currently on 12.0.0.4 6766 Embedded. This is a fresh install.

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Hi Raulfg,
Thanks for giving me this suggestion. You always are available and help out. Thanks so much!
Sadly, this did not work, I reinstalled and it showed the extensions menu, but when I enabled this toggle, it actually made the extensions tab disappear again
But thank you my friend, I have thought of something that might work. I will post back shortly.

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
@raulfg3: Ok I got this to finally work. Now my extensions tab is persistent on reboot.
I had to go and reorder the list of command scripts in my command scripts page under System > advanced.
It was weird, I had some command scripts running postinit, and it seems to somehow get higher on the list than the command script to start Onebutton and Extended-Gui.
I went ahead and reordered the command scripts so that OneButton and Extended-Gui load first, then I made sure my other command scripts were lower in the proper place for postinit and shutdown.
This fixed it and now the extension page is there after every reboot.
So if anyone gets this problem, just check your command scripts list and make sure OneButton and any other extension is high on the priority list to load first as a Postinit, then place any other command scripts lower.
Thanks for this, as I would not have tried this without your initial suggestion.
Appreciate your help my friend!

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Just out of curiosity, can you show the scripts that blocked somehow the extension scripts - under normal circumstances they should run anyway but maybe delayed...sleyk2010 wrote: ↑22 Jul 2019 16:40@raulfg3: Ok I got this to finally work. Now my extensions tab is persistent on reboot.

Re: purging eGUI alarms
I am wondering how to make messages on the "status" screen disappear. The attachment shows one of my systems with alert reaching back as far as 10 months.
I tried emptying the logs (Diagnostics->Log->Notifications et al.) but to no effect. I was hoping there to be a eGUI function but could not find one. I also tried to empty out the eGUI log (extended-gui/log/notifications.log) in a terminal but its contents keep popping back up out of nowhere. I tried a few combinations, including with disabled eGUI and with also unlinking log files unter /tmp.
So how do you empty the system alerts indeed?
As a probably related thing: I playfully enabled acustic alarms and one went off right away. Unfortunately I could not find the kill (or snooze) function. I finally found myself rebooting the server with disabled eGUI to get rid of it. What would have been the appropriate way to silence an alarm?
Kind regards
Sebastian

Hello birnbacs,

Very easy to get rid of these messages (they stay in an extra file not in logs), on Status > System proceed to the bottom of the page, there you will find the buttons Mute Alarms (audible) and Clear History (alarm messages on top of the page).birnbacs wrote: ↑15 Sep 2019 11:23I am wondering how to make messages on the "status" screen disappear. Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Hi, you need to access other page not home page! After that go to extension disable extended gui, refresh your browser tray to access home page again! Will work if you don't have other page in your browser history look in the first threads with this problem and you will find a similar adress that i have already provided ! Good luck

It 's hard to communicate through an interpreter.
I ask "Extended GUI in version 12 until no works?"

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Hi.
I install and start Extended Gui (0.7.0.1) on Xigmanas Version 12.0.0.4, Revision: 6928. Now I can`t open page Status/System, there is error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare get_upsinfo() (previously declared in /usr/local/www/index.php:145) in /etc/inc/system.inc on line 802.
How can I make the Extended Gui work?

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
Hi
As described in the readme.txt file (or here : viewtopic.php?f=78&t=14852):
Warning! Extended GUI is not compatible with this release.
We need to wait a new version of EGUI.

Re: [EXTENSION] Extended GUI
The latest version of XigmaNAS does not support this nice feature
I hope it will soon be implemented.
