drives missing from mount page

#1

Post by mrjacobrussell » 11 Oct 2019 06:40

not sure how to describe this issue.

i pulled/swapped a few drives from my computer, they are not in ZFS pools

one pool shows wrong drive locations

hu Oct 10 14:33:50 PDT 2019
pool: Pool1
state: ONLINE
scan: none requested
config:

NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
Pool1 ONLINE 0 0 0
raidz1-0 ONLINE 0 0 0
ada5 ONLINE 0 0 0
ada6 ONLINE 0 0 0
ada8 ONLINE 0 0 0

on the main page, it shows as ada4 ada5 and ada7

this seems to be causing an issue adding or mounting drives. when I connect a drive its missing from the mount page but shows on the drive management page. Drive management shows the pool drives to be ada5 ada6 and ada8.
In the mount page I see ada6 and ada8 as drives I can mount but they are part of the pool. ada7 is not part of the pool and it can not be mounted. it doesn't even show up

use the button "Clear configuration information before importing disks"
1_2.jpg
after doing it, perhaps need to sync wenGUi and real in ZFS:

I tried clear config and import.

I did do "sync" in ZFS tabs

I can see the drives and think they are showing up correctly but can't get them to mount.. they were disconnected when the power was off.

According to the disk management page, ada4 and ada7 are unformatted. Please format these drives first before trying to mount them.
