Unable to access SMB shares

#1

Post by mahaq »

I've setup a new XigmaNAS, version 12.1.0.4 revision 7542, that I can't get to work with an external Samba AD, running on Nethserver, and SMB. I've done the same configuration as I have for an older XigmaNAS for which it works. The users from AD has been properly imported but when I check Diagnostics > Information > MS Active Directory I get this output.

Code: Select all

MS Active Directory Information & Status
Result of testjoin

Environment LOGNAME is not defined. Trying anonymous access.
connect_to_domain_password_server: unable to open the domain client session to machine nsdc-ad.subdomain.domain.tld. Flags[0x00000000] Error was : NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED.
Join to domain 'NETBIOS DOMAIN NAME' is not valid: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

Winbindd Availability

Ping to winbindd succeeded

Trust Account Status

wbcCheckTrustCredentials(NETBIOS DOMAIN NAME): error code was NT_STATUS_DOMAIN_CONTROLLER_NOT_FOUND (0xc0000233)
failed to call wbcCheckTrustCredentials: WBC_ERR_AUTH_ERROR
Could not check secret
checking the trust secret for domain NETBIOS DOMAIN NAME via RPC calls failed
The servers can see each other
