cannot connect to shared folder from Windows 10

#1

Post by françois ROLAND »

Hi

I'm adding a nex Windows 10 computer on my network

In file browser, I can see my nas in Network tab, but get an error when I double click on it to see shared folder

It is working if I want see folder on my other nas (synology)

and, from all other computer with Windows 10, it's working fine

In windows settings, I selected SMB options (like on other computer)

Some details about error : 1st time I tried, it asked me user and password, but said me I haven't right (dut I used admin)
and now, it says it cannot connect to my nas, maybe network problem

Somebody has an idea or already met same issue?

try to delete your cached credentials on Windows and try again.

yes, you're true, google helped me

I did it, but didn't fix my problem

I checked settings one by one with other Win 10 PC and everything is same

don't understand why it's not working

ifyou have several win 10 that work fine and only new one is working bad as you describe in your first post, you must search the problem in the new PC, revise permission / policies, perhaps have some new restricted policies that are the origin of your problems, as far as i see your XigMaNAS Box is well configured if it works fine in other win 10 machines and in you SYNOLOGY.
