Hi,

i have a big issue to configure the network interface. My network interface card gets not detected, the autodetect function doesn´t work.
Bought a new mainboard: Asus P8H77-v
In the instructions/guidance it says that the LAN controller "Quallcomm Atheros 8161 PCIeGigabit Lan Controller" is already installed onboard.
Can anybody help me, please?

Check the support for this LAN chip under FreeBSD 9.1 (asuming you are using the latest release) . If not supported, get an extra Network Card, Intel NICs are not cheap but well supported and have good speed.
