whether there is a possibility to install Nas4Free in mode 'full' OS on HDD + DATA + SWAP without erasing information on the DATA partition?
Can I install Nas4Free only in the specified hard disk partition?
This is the old XigmaNAS forum in read only mode,

No, this is the reason because I suggesto to install N4F embeded on a USB stick and resrve 3TB Disk as data disk in this post: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6113&p=33562#p33562scher wrote:whether there is a possibility to install Nas4Free in mode 'full' OS on HDD + DATA + SWAP without erasing information on the DATA partition?
Please do not ask same question twice, is opposed to forum rules.
12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

Sorry. I think it is not same question.raulfg3 wrote:Please do not ask same question twice
The first question was about the limit on the size of the disk...
It seemed to me that I met on forum instructions how to install N4F by copy files and run commands in the right partition ...
But since NO means - NO.

OS and data on the same drive is not a good way to go
separate OS with raid or mirror for the data offers the best opportunities to a smooth recovery
some times it is as easy as moving the data drives to a new box, installing the OS and restoring the config.
