Re: Can I install Nas4Free on the hard drive 3TB?
NO.
My suggest is that use a USB Stick to boot a embeded install of N4F and use 3TB disk as Data disk, is the prefered / recommended way to manage data disk.

12.1.0.4 - Ingva (revision 7743) on SUPERMICRO X8SIL-F 8GB of ECC RAM, 11x3TB disk in 1 vdev = Vpool = 32TB Raw size , so 29TB usable size (I Have other NAS as Backup)

installing a 200 Mb operating system to anything big is a waste of space

Re: Can I install Nas4Free on the hard drive 3TB?
I must disagree... I run it off 80gb 2.5 data disk. Created a Downloads folder in /mnt and use it for torrents. You can do the same with 3TB disk and keep non essential data on it.
