Embedded install corrupted USB Drive

Quick background, I've had an embedded setup running for over a year on my intel ss4200 but during a move the flash drive got damaged. The issue I'm having is that I can write the embedded file to a new usb stick and even get it to boot on my main desktop but once I pull the drive (after shutting down the server) it becomes corrupted and stops being bootable, I've tried a few different USB drives all with the same problem.
On my desktop (the machine I'm using to write to the USB Drive) I'm ruinning win7 x64 and using win32diskimager.
Any help would be appreciated.

perhaps do you try to read on windows machine? remember that USB stick have a UFS image (1GB in size for latest 9.2.0.1 version and 384MB in size for older versions), and windows do not understand UFS format so for windows a UFS USBkey is a corrup USB.
several tricks that you can test.
1- write USBLive version on a new USB, and boot from this new USB key, this time a new menu (option 9) can appear to permit to do a fresh full or embeded install in other USBKey ( this is a wellcome featur to avoid burn CD in this days). and test the new created USB ( you can unplug USBLive and format if need for other uses.).
2 - Try to use RuFus to create embeded USB, sometimes I notice fails in win32diskimager

that is a shortcoming of the ss4200 system itself and not nas4free.. the boot sequence defaults back to the internal DOM.
