If I understand the instructions, I should be able to download a .img file and, with Linux, dd it onto a flash drive. I find instructions that say what to do with that file, apparently it has to be decompressed. those instructions, once I found them were clear. Unfortunately, when I go to download the file, I find that, even though the link is named NAS4Free-x86-embedded-9.2.0.1.972.img, the file that is downloaded is named NAS4Free-x86-embedded-9.2.0.1.972.bin.
What do I do with this file? treat it as if it had been named NAS4Free-x86-embedded-9.2.0.1.972.img? regname it by adding .gz, then decompress and burn to drive?
Help!!
Richard
