it will be difficult but it might be possible.
however i would not recommend it.

you will need a second machine where you will need to do a nas4free full installation to the cf card.
then move the cf card into the via machine and see if it boots.

256 mb ram is not enough to run the live version of nas4free
Nas4Free 11.1.0.4.4517. Supermicro X10SLL-F, 16gb ECC, i3 4130, IBM M1015 with IT firmware. 4x 3tb WD Red, 4x 2TB Samsung F4, both GEOM AES 256 encrypted.

the normal version.

see
http://wiki.nas4free.org/doku.php?id=faq:0037

Install on different computer. NOTE - This may be the easiest solution. Unlike Windows or other OS's, NAS4Free is mostly hardware independent. A fresh, unconfigured, installation made on a compatible computer can often be moved to another compatible computer without problems. Many times you can install NAS4Free, Embedded or Full to a hard drive or USB device on almost any computer with a CD/DVD and then move the device to the intended server without a CD/DVD and it will boot just fine.

Is the same to take di img and boot form USB than take the iso and burn CDROM?

if there is any way to increase the memory please do so.
as a second choice, different hardware
as a third choice, the above suggestion to first set up the OS on other hardware.
to the flash from either live CD or live USB stick
BUTwhen installed in the thin client, and
starved for memory, it will be frustratingly slow

Take the LiveCD/LiveUSB version
Put the Live CD/USB and the CF card into another computer
Boot from LiveCD/USB and when the console menu appears, choose option 9 and install the full system on the CF
When installation is finished, put the CF into your thin client and boot from CF.

looks like there is a problem with the via systems.
