AHCI Error

Post by mailvachu »

HI All,

I tried installing NAS4FREE build 975 ..
System config:

1. Intel server board S1200BTS Motherboard, BIOS Version - 020041

2. Intel Xeon E3-1220v2 processor -

3. 16Gb DDR3 ECC Reg. RAM - 8.0 Gb x 2

4. 1.0TB x 4 nos. of Seagate Enterprise SATA Hard Disk Drive. - model no. ST1000NM0033

During install process I get AHCI errors
cam status : ATA status error
syschronise cache failed
removing device entry

Also, when I tried to install on atom dual core processor, it does not even show the hard drives to install...
Any idea, suggestions?
Thank you.

Well try the official version 972 and use an embedded install.
Check hardware Compatibility list of FreeBSD 9.2 for your hardware.
