I have a working 9.1.0.1 - Sandstorm (revision 847) - x86 Embedded version on USB stick on a Intel Atom D410PT platform
Since there is no update - only fresh install to get 9.2.0.1.972
I downloaded and wrote NAS4Free-x86-LiveUSB-9.2.0.1.972.img onto another USB stick, booted it, I hit 9. Update/Install from liveUSB .. then I hit option 1(for embedded ver) and I have only my two Hard Drives and NO usb on the list.
No difference if there is one or two sticks plugged in.
Tried changing BIOS USB-Emulation type 'all fixed drives' 'all removable' - no difference.
Hence I can't get an embedded 9.2.0.1.972
Of course LiveUSB version works. But it's live USB not embedded.
Is there any chance to actually have an embedded 9.2.0.1.x on an USB stick like before?
Back in a days that way of making embedded worked
http://linhost.info/2012/09/create-a-na ... n-windows/
but now trying with NAS4Free-x86-embedded-9.2.0.1.972.img it gives "no config" error during boot and then, there is only one choice = reboot.

Re: 9.2.0.1 embedded install
first. your cpu supports 64bit. so use the 64bit version.
try wiping the usb stick first.
post the dmesg output from diagostic | log.
