Hello, I have a HP Smartmedia server (LX197) which does not have a VGA output. I would appreciate if I could have some assistance to install NAS4Free.
currently, I have the server hard disk plugged (via USB) to my desktop Win8.1 desktop.
Thanks.

Re: Installation without VGA
There are VGA debug Boards available for your nas. Otherwise install it on a different PC and just move the USB stick to the nas and see if it boots.

Re: Installation without VGA
Thanks for that suggestion but I don't want to spend more money than the actual value of the server.

Re: Installation without VGA
You can burn a embeded image of nas4free on a Windows PC and use this USB key to boot
You can also do a full install on this Windows PC on a HD and use this HD to boot your NAS
