Hello;
I'm exploring the use of nas4free, and I wanted to install it on a ssd. the installation didn't work for me (it keeps looping to the main screen, instead of going to device selection), and I started checking various things, including boot up messages, where I found some errors. Not sure if anyone knows why they happen, and it there is anything in BIOS I should adjust, to resolve them (if possible). The motherboard is an Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0.
$ dmesg | grep -i error
ACPI Error: [RAMB] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20110527/psargs-392)
(aprobe0:ahcich2:0:0:0): CAM status: ATA Status Error

(aprobe0:ahcich2:0:0:0): Error 5, Retries exhausted

$ dmesg | grep -i warning
ACPI Warning: FADT (revision 5) is longer than ACPI 2.0 version, truncating length 268 to 244 (20110527/tbfadt-320)
ACPI Warning: Optional field Pm2ControlBlock has zero address or length: 0x0000000000000000/0x1 (20110527/tbfadt-586)

Thanks for any comments and suggestions!

you do not need to install on a SSD , is a waste of resources. instead, do a embeded install on a USB.

PD: Your error " CAM status: ATA Status Error" can be because a BAD SATA Cable ( or bad connection) or because you configure in BIOS your SATA as some type of IDE emulation, all sata in BIOS MUST be comfigured as AHCI.
