Still waiting after 60 seconds for XPT_Config

Recently I tried installing the software on a older Pentium Dual core system, running the OS from a 2 GB USB drive right now, and every time I tried to boot it I get a prompt stating it can't load the xpt_config file:

So far I tried the following
-Disabled 1394
-Launched a LiveCD
-Switched between x64 and x86
I really hope somebody is able to help out on this issue.
I can only boot the OS in safe mode, but it won't save my configurations.
I do have the key specifications listed here:

do you have an option for apic or acpi in the bios?

I have seen something like that in the BIOS a few times.
Can't be sure if they are turned on or off, let me take a look now.
Ok I just took a look and saw APIC being enabled, I disabled it and I'm trying to launch it now.
Nope, no dice unfortunately.
There is both the option to toggle APIC in advanced BIOS settings, and ACPI in power management, I tried both of these disabled, APIC only enabled, ACPI only enabled which all did no difference thus far.

well its an board with sis.
they were the worst boards you could buy.
any current atom board is gonna give you better performance at lower power usage.

I just gave away a 1.2 Ghz celeron N4F box it had a SiS chip set/video
wound up a N4F box as the video was useless for Linux
stuff with SiS chips can be flaky but try a small Hdd for booting [or live cd/usb config]
if this works you may still be in the game with that board, just not a USB Boot

Sorry for the long time not posting.
I installed it using my laptop with a SATA drive connected through USB, and having the installation on a liveUSB, which did no dice as the problem still persists unfortunately.

try the drive connected to the IDE PATA connection
usb is great when it works, but it does not always work.
I have found older boards work best when booting as they did originally
the drive with the embedded OS can be installed and set to spin down after 5 minutes.
the live OS [shown above] needs needs a second stick of USB memory to store the config
or using step 9 at the console screen transfer the embedded OS to a small Hdd on the primary IDE line
note; anything over 300 Mb is wasted so look for a very small hdd
