Installed system stucks at boot menu waiting fo keypressed

Hi, all!
I have a Mobo GA-B75N (latest BIOS) with Core i3 3220 CPU, that Mobo came with non working USB ports and adio, so I use a add on pci-express card with 4 usb 3.0 ports. I choose cd in BIOS menu, and FreeNas boot menu has appear, but timer does not go countdown. I press Enter and install boots. Install Embedded variant on USB stick and then reboot system. loading stops at the menu and waits for pressing and after pressing is loaded and running.
Ubuntu server installed on the same system with the same memory stick is automatically loaded and operating correctly. How to make automatic loading? Thank you all for your help.

since embedded N4F loads from flash to RAM on boot up it's speed in not important.
not all usb ports may boot correctly usually ok are the ones on the back nearest a round KB plug [if any]
N4F does not do USB-3 well and connecting storage drives by USB is not recommended and slow

I know that, thanks for reply. But why linux boots correctly? Its a 18.2 Hz problem? More here:
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/free ... 62302.html How to add this (add '-n' to your /boot.config) option to Nas4Free?

if you have a spare sata use one of these to store the embedded OS
http://www.logicsupply.com/components/s ... h-modules/
all 3 of mine do [2 are SATA one is PATA] all loaded from a temp CD
add a SATA expansion card if you do not have enough ports
USB booting is OK when it works but it often does not [even on board slots]
only some cards insert them self into the boot process [network and drive expansion cards]
I'm approaching 70 YO it seems more important not wasting time trying to make USB work
I once made a FN-7 box from a MOBO with 2 expansion slots epoxied shut
bad interrupts on both slots [probably lightning hit but otherwise perfect]
a board with missing functions if otherwise good should work OK
but one must work around the missing bits successfully
a small Hdd will also work [install and set to spin down after the embedded boot]
I did this one for my son

The issue you linked to is for a very old freebsd release...
Still strange that it happens, though..
Have you tried loading bios defaults to see what happens?

Yes, of course. But nothing changes. That problem (18.2Hz) staing for now. There are three ways to solve the probblem:
1. Chande bootloader (how?)
2. Add parameter from my post (how?)
3. Switch to linux
