Hi,
after many days of unsuccessful googling and researching I would like to involve the community:
I would like to install Nas4free on a netbook's SSD from the usb flash drive.
Hard disk name: Toshiba 2.5" HDD MK..55GSX
Versions tried: LiveUSB image of Stable and unstable
Error: Syntax error: Undetermined quoted string
USB stick size: Tried 2GB and 64GB
Once booted from liveUSB I select menu 9, 1 and then choose the source (da0 8.07)
After this the screen flashes and goes back to menu 9.
Error message is "Syntax error: Undetermined quoted string" I believe it is because of the name of the SSD: Toshiba 2.5" HDD MK..55GSX .
I guess the string is not cleaned up before it is used, or the additional special characters are not escaped.
What I tried:
- renaming the SSD: I could not do it
- renaming the disk through the web interface: did not solve the issue
- tried different versions of nas4free
- tried different USB sticks
- tried different menthods to write the image to the USB (on Windows and on Linux as well)
What do you think the solution would be here?
thank you for your help in advance!
