9.3 & OS X = no browsing

Hi,
I tried this out with a fresh install of OS X Yosemite and a fresh(ish*) install of N4F 9.2 (Shigawire) and 9.3 (Nayla.)
I can access smb shares with Finder in OS X fine with both, but browsing to the nas box and viewing the available shares stopped working when I went from 9.2 to 9.3. The only way [that I found] to access the shares from OS X was:
cmd-K (connect to server, choose share, mount share)
cmd-ctrl-G (go to map, choose /Volumes/Name-Of-Share)
I tried this with OS X Mavericks and OS X Yosemite. MB Pro 2011. Aging Windows 7 laptop has no troubles whatsover.
I hope this helps someone, I'm happy to provide more information if need be.
Cheers all, thanks for a wonderful NAS-os.
