Password protected folder

I apologise if this question has been asked before.
I set up a shared folder for three users belonging to their own group and set permissions to 0770.
However, for certain reasons, I need to password protect the folder as well (as some people are using their computer).
Is this at all possible?

Thank you.

Why not have them use separate windows accounts? That way each person logs into the computer and can use their their own NAS account for restricted permissions.

Either that or you need to use encryption on the end workstation as nothing on the NAS can try to do what you want.

Thanks, I thought this might be the case - just covering all possibilities.

Setup the windows box to require user names and passwords then replicate the same user / password on the NAS. Then, the users are given access to only what they need.
